Freez-Well Freezer Locker Paper is a polyethylene coated white food wrap used to protect food from freezer burn. Freezer burn occurs when moisture escapes from the interior of foods through a process called sublimization. When defrosted, the food is dried out and loses it appeal or may even be unfit to eat. Often the tell-tale sign of this is ice crystals forming on the outside of food. This ice is the moisture from the food itself which has been drawn out over time in the freezer.

Freez-Well Freezer Locker Paper retards this process by sealing moisture in and cold air out of the food. The paper substrate conforms to the food while the plastic seals in moisture to protect it. The better the contact between the coating on the sheet and the food being wrapped, the longer the paper will protect it.
